Fantasy League - THE RESULT!
The wait is over, we have a winner!!! Congratulations to Andy Clark who went home with the £40 top prize, thanks to his team “If You Think Gerrard Enough” picking up 1059 points over the season. For interest, his team consists of Olivia Clark in goal, a back line of Dan Andrews,
Vicky Easton, Georgia Perkins, midfield of Ed Baldock, Jack Biggs, Andy himself, and Kim Williams. Front line was made up by April Bedford, Boots Dawson and Bear Smith.
In second place, with the £20 prize was Katie and Becca Cannon’s “The Cannonballs” with 1031 points, not that far behind! And in third, for the £10 prize was Phil Williams with “Fireballs II” on 1011.
On the playing front, Neil Gallacher came out on top with 151 points, only 1 point ahead of Boots, with Bas Marshall in third on 146. And the award for “Top Score in One Game” goes to Martin Pickup after his 6 goals and MOM in the M3s 12-0 win over OMT! Mens 3s domination! Finally the “Best Value Award” goes to April Bedford who scored a whopping 142 points, which for a price of only £3 equates to 47.33 points per pound. Bargain!
Next is the Dream Team – were you in it? This is the WHOLE SEASON Dream Team, i.e. the best possible legal combination which you could have bought yourself! The following team scored 1463 points, which, er, would have beaten Andy by quite some way!
