Junior coach needed

Oxford Hawks Hockey Club are looking for a coach to oversee their junior training programme.  The club has grown considerably in recent years and currently has over 500 junior members.  Oxford Hawks has a consistent track record of developing all young players and supporting them into adult teams including the Men’s and Ladies 1st and 2nd XIs.   In recent years junior players have achieved success at all levels of the Single System including National Age Group Squads.  We have a strong ambition to continue with this success and develop all our young players, coaches and umpires in an inclusive and friendly environment.  The Club has fantastic facilities including two new pitches alongside their clubhouse. 

The ideal candidate will be:

  • Minimum Level Two qualified with all relevant safeguarding, first aid training and CRB check
  • Wide experience of coaching juniors of all abilities and ages.
  • Able to work alongside and support a highly committed team of volunteer coaches in the junior section
  • Able to communicate with young people and their parents

Junior HockeyThe successful candidate will be expected to work closely with the Junior committee and the club head coach to ensure the coaching content is consistent with the overall strategy across the club.
