Hawks Ladies' C clinch the title

The final started late.  There was an accident on the south ring road which meant that some Wallingford players arrived just as the game was beginning.  They choose push-back but did not settle into their game for several minutes.  Hawks capitalised on this with two goals in quick succession.  The first from Emily Court and the second from Claire Werlinger. Wallingford got into their stride and scored one goal making the score 2-1 to Hawks at half time.

Wallingford piled on the pressure in the second half but Hawks had the sun in their favour now and resisted all attacks.  Jo Tolson scored the third goal.  Wallingford retaliated but could not score again.  So the final score was 3-1 to Hawks.
