Fantasy League Week 4
No change at the top as Sam Chilvers’ ‘Hit and Miss’ still holds top spot, but hot on his heels is Sally Clark’s ‘The bananas that say mush’ who has jumped into second. Biggest score of the week was from Phil Hargraves’ ‘Pukka Pies’ with a whopping 70 points, mainly thanks to the hat trick from Tom Ward. At the wrong end of the table we amazingly have a change! Keith Taylor’s team of cheapies had a good week, mainly thanks to £4 defender Dunners scoring and getting MOM, So he has jumped above………..Andre Moriaty! His ‘Titans’ are now in last place (although admittedly it is a tie for last place but for some reason Andre is listed last!!).
For all those managers who were glad to see Sandra Satterly on the scoresheet – don’t celebrate too soon as I’m afraid that since she was listed as a Ladies 4s player at the time of ‘purchase’ her points from the Ladies 2s win will not count as the 4s did not have a game on the same day!! (Sorry H!) I know it’s an annoying rule but it’s in place to stop players getting points from more than the maximum of 13 fixtures….heh heh I love making the rules!
Anyway, on the player front, the top 4 remains unchanged, with the Harriers dominating. However Ed Baldock is keen to get in the mix as he continues his rise to the top, sneaking into the top five. Biggest score of the week was from the Senators Chris MacFarlane thanks to his brace and MOM in their 7-1 win.
