Congratulations to Caroline and Adam

Congratulations to Caroline Baggs and Adam Laird who both came back from the 2022 World Championships in Cape Town with medals.

Caroline was playing for the England Over 65s Women who won all their matches and beat Scotland 2 - 0 in the final.

Adam was playing for the England Over 50s Men.  They won all their pool matches with the exception of a draw with Germany.  However, their goal difference was not quite as good as Germany's.  So, Germany went into the final, where they lost to Netherlands, and England went into the playoff for the 3rd and 4th places, which they won 4 - 1.

This is a great achievement.  So, if you see them, please congratulate Caroline and Adam.
