Under 16 Girls head to Regional Finals

16 February 2014

U16 Girls A 12 - 1 Oxford U16 Girls A

Hawks u16 Girls faced local rivals Oxford twice in two weeks at either end of half term. In the first game, Hawks wrapped up their Tier one campaign in England Hockey's cup competition with a commanding 12-1 win over their neighbours.  This victory ensured they qualified at the top of their group for the regional finals at Reading this Sunday.  A week later it was a closer scoreline but still a win for the Banbury Road based team.  Hawks allowed Oxford to take a two goal lead before asserting control over the game and running out 5-3 winners. Good luck to the team this weekend when they take on Reading, Bath Buccaneers and Bournemouth.
