The Men’s 3’s continued their impressive season with a 3-1 home win against a tough BA side, with only one game to go before the turn, the 3’s still have their 100% record in place. Hopefully this has not gone un-noticed with all you fantasy league managers!

BA were very quick to start and once the baggage had been secured on the side of the pitch they were ready for departure, sadly, Hawks found themselves still in duty free looking around for those last minute Xmas presents, having purchased some goodies they then set about gifting them to BA who moved through the security of midfield and into the defence departure lounge to find more free gifts there. How happy they were. Only Customs officer Ben Mitchell (MOM) stopped them time and time again. He was asking some seriously difficult questions of BA,  “Where have you come from?” “Midfield”  “is this a transit flight?”,  “yes”, “where are you heading?”, “the goal”, “I’m sorry, I can’t allow that, there seems to be a problem here, as you seem to be trafficking a ball”

Thankfully Captain Dawson from Quickhansa soon taxied Hawks into the D and took off with a short corner for one nil, this stalled the BA planes and despite being continually given clearance by Hawks Traffic Control they failed to make it off the tarmac.

Welcome to Quickhansa said Captain Dawson, we hope you have an enjoyable time today, I will be taking a direct route from obscurity, passing through midfield before coming into land at nestle-in-the-corner as he made it 2-0.

There was a problem at half time with a particularly angry Duty Free manager Big Dog, barked out to the Hawks Cosmetics department saying that looking good was not their job, neither was making the opposition look good either. This has the desired effect and the second half settled down with a much better plan of announcing that the only flights were going to be taken by Hawks.

In the closing few minutes, Captain Dawson then taxied his Boeing Size13 into the permitted airspace and made it 3.

Only a small disturbance from BA in the last 5 minutes allowed the score to get to 3-1 as Big Dog was looking for the smoking area and Costa shop in arrivals.

Next week should be an interesting one, we are playing South Bucks away, who it is fair to say are not having a great season, complacency could be our or enemy but I am sure the lure of going to halfway with played 11 won 11 will be enough for the 3’s to finish the first half in style.
