The Ladies 3s put up a good fight in the local derby

An exciting game for the Ladies 3’s this week as we played the local derby against the Oxford University second team. After an early 1-nil, 2-nil setback, we came back fighting and Phoebe’s brilliant top of the D short corner soared into the bottom left corner. The fight continued, with a slight setback as they scored another goal to make it 3-1. Another fantastic short corner strike by Phoebe narrowed the gap to 3-2 but unfortunately a quick counter and an Oxford Uni short corner meant the game ended 4-2.
