Ladies' 7s successful at Leighton Buzzard

What a difference a week makes. The weather this week was sunny and perfect conditions for a great Hawks game. The 7s dominated from the outset with great passing and goals being scored from the first minute. Cat scored Hawks’ first goal after only a minute of play quickly followed by Lexie in the 4th minute and Poppy in the 11th minute. We then only needed to wait 5 minutes for the next goals to arrive seeing Lexie score in the 17th and 26th minute. Cat also managed a hat trick scoring in the 22nd minute and again after a brilliant pass from Bella in the 28th minute to end the half with a score of 7-0.
Hawks came out on the attack and after another great pass from Bella, Poppy scored her 2nd goal of the match in the 12th minute. With no subs for Hawks today the team started to fade at the end of the game but still managed to keep the opposition scoreless.
A great game with lots of nominations for man of the match, almost the whole team got a nomination which showed the teamwork today. With one more nomination than anyone else, Lexie and Cat shared player of the match today.
