L6s took to the show pitch but couldn’t avoid another 2-0 defeat

The game started with back and forth between teams possession. An early short corner for Hawks didn’t end in a goal, but a quick turn over from Leighton Buzzard found a gap in our defence and they scored. Both sides continued strong to the end of the first half. Teyha showing great strength and confidence in goal. 

Hawks started strong with great energy, confident of gaining an equaliser. We saw some excellent play from Lexie and Fran and we won another short corner. But Leighton Buzzard were the quicker team and soon made the score line 2-0. We held the score line for the last 10 minutes in a high energy and competitive game.  

Player of the match is our goalie Teyha! Very well deserved and we retreated to the clubhouse for Veggie Dahl and L6s Jan’s chocolate tiffin bites!
