A tricky time in the fog

Not being able to see from one side of the pitch to the other, Hawks started the match strong with hopes of a win this week.  Marlow had a very young and quick team that made a break very early one. They were clinical in the circle however our defence were also very strong and managed to keep the ball away from Linda. With a few unlucky short corners early one, Marlow took the lead. 1-0. Hawks, a little disheartened, had their heads down after this. Marlow took advance and scored another goal. 2-0. With the most starting to clear it felt as if we all started to warm up to the pace of the game and held Marlow off for a little long. Linda made some amazing saves, diving along the floor, the outletting from the back started to link up with the mids and the forwards but we just struggled to convert. With a very strong counter attack Marlow went 3-0 up. 

Coming out after half time we were starting to match Marlow and playing really strong as a team. We had more breaks up the line and more shots on goal however like the first half we just struggled to convert. With another short corner from Marlow they went 4-0 up.
