First half started with an early goal from Marlow but it didn’t take long for Hawks to come back and equalise with a goal from Katherine after a great high transfer.
Lexi took us into a 2-1 lead after stealing it from the press. Katherine then solidified the lead with a very similar goal pushing it passed the keeper. So the first half ended with Hawks leading 3-1.
Second half started again with an early goal from Marlow from a corner passing it around hawks defence. But Hawks came back again with Odders stealing it off Marlow left half followed by a base line carry and pass into Wato waiting at the penalty spot. with a 4-2 lead by Hawks, Marlow got a chance for a shot on goal to close the gap again to 4-3. The last 10 minutes were tense with Marlow pressing hard and forcing Hawks defence into the corners. But Hawks held out and finished with a 4-3 win.
