What a glorious day for hockey!

Hawks put up a great defensive show and despite being under continued pressure from Thame for most of the half, denied Thame any chances until the dying minutes.  Thame had a break and found a player at the top of the D, who took a first time hit straight into the netting to put the half time score at 0-1.

Hawks regrouped at half time and were able to secure more possession in the second half.  Thame scored another 2 goals but the final quarter of the game saw Hawks really start to play.  We won 5 or 6 shorts towards the end of the game but alas were not able to convert.

Disappointing score line, but just a joy to be playing again.
