Ladies' 3s 2 - 2 Aylesbury Ladies 1s
After a rushed warmup due to traffic, the ladies 3s came out strong against Aylesbury. With a fantastic win the previous week against Reading and the sun shining bright, spirits were high. The first half started off strong with an early goal in by Zoe Lamb putting us 1 nil up. We maintained a strong attack, putting their defence under constant pressure throughout the first half.
The second half started well with another early goal by Zoe Lamb. However spirits started to diminish as well as our structure as the opposition came out much stronger. Aylesbury scored but we kept fighting to maintain our lead. Aylesbury stepped up their attack even more and managed to concede another goal putting us at a draw. Our defence remained strong throughout the second half as Aylesbury continued to attack furiously. It was an unfortunate 2-2 draw for the ladies 3s, but we still got one point!
MOM was Emily and DOD was Olah for forgetting her socks and mask!
