There was a great early save at the goal by Iona from inside the D. There was lots of pressure from Maidenhead and unfortunately they scored an early goal. Then sadly two injuries occurred to the face for Rebecca and Jess in the space of 2 minutes. Maidenhead had a penalty flick and sadly scored.

In the second half , Iona saved a shot on the goal within a short corner. Many short  corners were given to Maidenhead which unfortunately made us concede 2 goals in the second half.

The score ended up being 4 - 0 to Maidenhead. As everyone played wellthere were many nominations for player of the match this week, but Sarah gets it for having a great game in defence.  Many thanks to Iona for playing twice (once at home at 10 am and then for us away at 4:15).
