Ladies' 7s deservedly draw with Newbury & Thatcham

Ladies' 7s put great effort into this game as Kat had told them that the opposition were only just above us in the league.  We had lost to them by one goal in the autumn when we did not have a proper keeper.  We played really well together and had lots of opportunities to score but never quite managed to.  But then the opposition did not manage to score either.  So, we ended the match with a 0 - 0 draw. And we were happy with the point.  Lucy, who had an excellent game playing inner and centre mid was voted player of the match.

Over tea, we discussed what had gone well and what we could improve.  We looked at the league table and discovered that the opposition were actually mid-table.  So it was an excellent result.
