Despite a cold start and delayed push back due to a frosty pitch, Ladies 7s were fired up and determined to find their elusive win.

Banbury pressurised Hawks early with multiple attacks and short corner opportunities but Hawks defended strongly keeping a clean sheet throughout, including a magnificent penalty flick save by player of the match, goalie, Amelia.

Hawks showed some confident connecting play through mid field resulting in more time and space in and around the D throughout the match. Sadly all strikes and short corners didn’t result in a goal but individually and collectively we are improving.
