U12 Girls A team in tough game against Thame
10 November 2019
U12 Girls A 1 - 6 Thame U12 Girls
It was a lovely bright sunny day at Thame on the 10th of November. All of the girls had a fantastic warm up with Lexie Steel as the captain for the match. Everyone lined up on the halfway line for a 1 minute silence to remember fallen soldiers.
The girls were playing four 10 minute quarters, they set off with their heads held high and a strong attack with Alice our goal keeper saving lots of goals. Unfortunately, due to an organised attack we let 3 early goals in, putting us on the back foot. The girls had a quick drink and were determined to get back on the pitch, swapping around the positions for the second quarter. We had a much better quarter, sadly not quite able to score. Thame scored another couple of goals by pushing in off post in the third quarter. Kitty Hacking scored a tremendous goal from the middle of the D. Everyone ran back to push back and worked hard again. The last quarter the girls were raring to go, but the final result was 6-1 to Thame. Thank you very much to the staff who attended this match and we all had a fantastic day, well played everyone..!
