Ladies 3s started well with some excellent passing phases in the first 20 minutes of the match from the back line through to the forward line. The defence were working hard to try and keep a Slough attack at bay. Hawks progressed and gained more confidence throughout the game. Gaining three short corners in the first half but failing to convert from two shots and a drag flick from Bethan R.Some great defensive control and turn over of the ball saw Hawks progressing into Sloughs half on many occasions unfortunately opportunities to convert didn’t come Hawks way this week. Some great midfield work from Rosie M saw Hawks regaining a lot of possession.Following this game Hawks 3s have taken a lot of strengths in play and building blocks for the next few weeks. Hawks were unfortunate not to convert.Happy 30th birthday to Megan H!DOD: Amy Olah for getting a hot water bottle delivered to the sidelines!
