Ladies' 2s beat Banbury

In a top vs bottom table clash, our Ladies 2s gave a good account of themselves and crafted a comfortable win to maintain their promotion challenge.  Banbury had some good passages of play, which kept Millie on the alert in goal.  However, five of our Ladies scored a satisfying number of goals, Helen contributing a brace from penalty corners.  A highlight towards the end of the match was Emma's solo run from the halfway line, outstripping the defence to create a one-on-one with the Banbury keeper - who Emma coolly side-stepped to run the ball into the goal unchallenged.
