Ladies 3s can't hold off a quick and clinical Slough squad

19 January 2019, 12:00, Slough HC

Ladies' 3s 1 - 3 Slough Ladies 2s

Hawks assembled in the changing rooms and after a motivational team talk and the delivery of tactics from the captain, the team were fired up and ready to build on last weeks performance.

The game started with many great spells of connecting play and a number of entries into Slough's defending D despite the cold weather and bouncy pitch. Many quick breaks from their speedy forwards allowed Slough, who were very clinical in converting their opportunities in the D, to leave Hawks on the back foot.

This was followed by some great pressure from Hawks on both the left and the right as well as some great play making in the middle by Victoria allowing Frankie to score a lovely reverse stick goal and overall getting Man of the Match for her non-stop effort on and off the ball.

A very disappointing result however a great team performance from everyone!
