L4s show an improved performance against the energetic Uni team

Ladies' 4s 2 - 3 Oxford University Ladies 2s
The Ladies 4s were up against a well drilled team in Oxford Uni 2s.
For the first 15 minutes Hawks were very strong, keeping good possession of the ball. We were unlucky as Oxford Uni scored two goals, both on the counter attack. By half time it was Oxford Uni 3 Hawks 0. With an encouraging half time talk Hawks were desperate not to let the Uni play their game. In second half we played some great hockey and with some short, quick passes Zoe was able to take an amazing early shot to go right in the bottom corner of the goal. Hawks then scored another goal with a ball being passed to Rebecca, who took control of the game and passed the ball to the rapid Bizza, who went on a one v one with the keeper ending in an amazing goal. For the last ten minutes Hawks were mostly in the Uni’s half, trying to break through the defence to score another to get the point. Hawks were very unlucky not to score again but were pleased with how they played.
