L4s fade against a strong Reading side

19 January 2019, 11:30, Sonning Lane

Ladies' 4s 0 - 5 Reading Reading Rockets

On Saturday morning the Ladies' 4s travelled to Reading and were faced with cold weather and rain.  It was a tough game with only 13 players which proved tiring with motivation levels slowly dropping against a firm opposition.  Throughout the game we held a very strong defence with many impressive transfers made between Becky, Clare, Annabel and Eveena.  Tiggy and Bizza were able to use their speed to drive the ball down the left and right wings, however with Reading's very strong and experienced defence it was difficult to get the ball in the D.  The forwards did have some shots at goal but Reading had a tough goalkeeper.  The end result was 5-0 to Reading Rockets which was a disappointing result for the Ladies' 4s.
