U14 Girls B 3 - 1 Thame U14 Girls

  • U14 Girls B team January 2019 001

First game of 2019 and what a game, coming away with a 3-1 win against Thame. The 1st quarter saw a very strong start from Hawks dominating possession and scoring 2 goals both scored by Bea.  After a quick chat it was straight into the 2nd quarter, although no goals were scored by Hawks, Thame capitalised from a loose ball in the middle of the pitch and scored.

After a well deserved drinks break and team talk, both teams returned back to the pitch hoping for more goals to be scored. The 3rd and 4th quarter were very strong for Hawks, no goals were scored in the 3rd quarter but in the 4th quarter 1 goal was scored after an outstanding ball fed in from Amelia into Romily who managed to get a shot on target, although deflected off the superb Thame keeper Izzy managed turn it in. A tremendous effort from both teams and congratulations to Bea for getting man of the match. A huge thank you for to Paul and Phil for looking after the team.
