Another Saturday another victory for the Senators as they continue to dominate opposition home and away. Gone are the days when travelling away from home could produce a less then perfect squad. In a weekend that saw our supporters liaison officer Mahon generate additional advertising revenue in China and team manager Dutch plan a set of touring fixtures for 2012 in the USA, their places were seamlessly filled by evergreens Nobby and Pablo and the bandwagon kept rolling on.
Another 11 goals without reply were added to a goal difference that already looks ridiculously lopsided, and we have another 2 games to go before we hit a well deserved skiing break at Christmas. It may be that the usual suspects got their names on the score-sheet again, however it was a Man-of-the-Match performance from Chrissy Mac that was the subject of much post match discussions in the clubhouse. His untiring running off the ball and his accurate final passing were a lesson in team play to all of us, even though he will be falling behind in the Fantasy League stats. Frankly, for the Senators only 1 league really counts and we're well and truly on top of that one.
Next week provides a difficult decision from MWP Hutts, as Felix the Cat's absence might give him a chance to play with 11 outfield players and satisfy the squad insatiable appetite for pitch time. Wonder how the FL copes with that?
