L4s work hard in the glorious sunshine to draw v Aylesbury 1s
13 October 2018, 12:00, Banbury Road North (Top)
Ladies' 4s 3 - 3 Aylesbury Ladies 1s
On the 13th of October we played against Aylesbury. It was a really hot day and it affected the play in some ways, but we kept on running. They were really strong in their attacking sometimes, but overall we were definitely the stronger team.
In the first half they scored the first goal, then we equalised with a short corner, scored by Kim. After a tiring first half with the score of 1-1, unluckily they scored their second goal off a rebound. Despite the hot weather we kept on fighting and soon after their second goal, Caz scored an almost impossible goal from the baseline, what made the score 2-2. Aylesbury kept on fighting and their RW ran full length of pitch and scored through Evelyn's pads. However, the story doesn't end there because an great Hawks attack gave Sarah the opportunity to score the last goal of the match, 3-3. All in all a good match.
