Hawks U18 Girls got their league season underway with a high quality fixture against a strong Reading side.  Despite a fairly even start, Reading made the most of their chances in the first half and went into the break 2-0 ahead.

A couple of quick goals in the second half saw the visitors extend their lead.  However in an impressive display of character, Hawks took control of the game and dominated the remainder of the second half.  They deservedly pulled two back and showed a lot of promise for the season ahead.

Many thanks to Charlie Baggs and Rob McCulloch for umpiring and to Vicki Hearn for the photos.
