Ladies' 1s draw with Ben Rhydding

Hawks then faced Ben Rhydding in their second game, and despite tired legs put on another solid performance. Ben Rhydding scored first from a well taken corner, but Hawks levelled on the stroke of half time with a Caro Harris corner goal.  Outstanding play from Row Hearn halted a number of Ben Rhydding attacks, but the northern side finally broke through to retake the lead, again from a corner. However Hawks didn’t drop their heads and levelled again with another Harris penalty corner goal. With the clock ticking down both teams pressed for he winner but it ended a draw, wrapping up an excellent pre-season work out for Hawks.
