Hawks 6ths had an early slot on a balmy morning and soon took the game to West Hampstead as Ed Baldock and Matt Brook found the free running youngsters up front in Arthur Baldock, Finn Rumsby and Simon Dawson.
As the forward line rotated a well worked move saw Dawson and Ollie Graham combine for the latter to slot home. Dawson soon made it 2.
As alex Bush joined the fray his pace and movement caused extra problems and he was a thorn in the side of West Hampstead for most of the morning picking up the man of the match award.
Dawson added another and had several good chances to add to his tally but West Hampstead were determined and continued to cause problems on the break. Finlayson and George Guillian added goals but West Hampstead did put 2 on the score sheet.
One goal resembled the parting of the red sea as the player was allowed to simply run through the middle of the pitch to an open D and slot past the bemused Wilsdon in between the sticks.
Despite conceding one more the game was secured with 2 further goals from Bush and Baldock. With the final game looming, against Tring, a long season will come to an end which has secured the league status and demonstrated a great blend of youth and experience.
