The 6ths need to rally and finish on a high after a defeat to MK

10 March 2018

Men's 6s 1 - 6 Milton Keynes Men's 4s

The 6ths arrived at Milton Keynes with a full squad and a balance of youth and experience but faced a good Milton Keynes side who took advantage of the opportunities presented to them.

from the early exchanges the tactic of drilling the ball into the D paid dividends for Milton Keynes and whilst on another day the deflections might be covered this led to a quick fire 3 goals. It was a long way back from conceding goals early in the game but Hawks continued to battle hard.

In the end a well taken goal from a good pull back by Alex Bush on the  bye-line proved no more than a consolation and they must now look to a strong finish to the season, starting with an early start against local rivals Oxford this week.
