L4s bring back max points from their trip south of the river

11 November 2017, 12:00

Ladies' 4s 2 - 0 South Berkshire Ladies 2s

South Berkshire started strongly, putting a lot of pressure on our defence. However, at around the 20 minute mark, we picked up the pace and intensity! Dizzy won us our first short which unluckily was not converted into a goal but soon after, spurred on by our desire to win we started to communicate and link our passes with some excellent play from Holly and Alice down the left.

Approaching the second half with high hopes, we immediately sprung into action with some excellent passes down the right from Catherine and Bryony which eventually led us to our first goal being scored by Rebecca on the base line. Hawks then proceeded to improve their play as their determination was heightened with a second goal being scored by Caz from a short corner. All in all, an excellent team performance with the reward of a win.
