Men's 6ths come back from 2-0 to secure a point with an OJ brace
04 November 2017, 15:30, Banbury Road North (Top)
Men's 6s 2 - 2 Wycombe Men's 4s
As the 6ths team continues to evolve and provide opportunities for the players from the Colts section to enjoy Men's hockey, this game secured a deserved point.
With a debut from Finn Rumsby adding to the rotating younger players supported by the experiences heads in the team they can be proud of their continued persistence. In a character building performance it would have been easy for heads to drop when facing a 2-0 deficit. Not so this team and with Jonny Sunderland constantly causing problems in the Wycombe defence his probing runs created chances and OJ Webb was not going to let them go begging.
With 2 well taken finishes his brace made the score 2-2 and despite chances to take the win the team were pleased with the afternoons work.
