Despite knowing that Slough 3s were at the top of the league, the Ladies 7s went into the match today fighting! We were happily surprised at half time that the score was still 0 - 0 and went back on determined not to let our game slip! Victoria made a couple of fantastic breaks towards our goal, but unfortunately their defence was solid. We were chuffed to finish the game on 0 - 0.

As you can see in the photos, Slough started off in black with pink bibs.  The umpires insisted that they change at half time.  We leant them our white shirts.

Henrike made her debut, playing really well marking the wing. Emily did amazingly in goal, keeping a clear score card and Victoria earned Man of the Match which was very well deserved. The whole team played absolutely brilliantly!
