Oxford Hawks Girls U16A's had their first England Cup Game of the season. A new season with a new challenge, different opposition to play against. This week, Team Bath Buccaneers.

Hawks started off strongly and put a lot of pressure on the Bath Bucs defence but they did a great job in keeping the score at 0-0. The Bath Bucs GK made save after save as Hawks piled on the pressure.

The deadlock was broken by Holly Senior then the goals started to come with Lexi Newall, Emma Stephenson and Row Hearn all scoring before half time.

The 2nd half started well for Hawks and again the Bath Bucs GK made a number of great saves despite the fact that Hawks were creating chance afte chance.

Further goals were scored by Emma and Row completed her hat trick with another impressive individual run from our 25! The game ended 7-0 and Hawks look forward to their next cup game against Clifton Robinsons on the 5th November.
