Ladies' 1s 1 - 4 Cannock Ladies 1s
Hawks travelled up the M40 to face newly promoted side Cannock in the National League Conference West. Similar to the previous week, Hawks started strongly, creating a number of chances to open the scoring, but all were saved or narrowly wide. However after 15 minutes Lucy Stewart broke the deadlock. It was a great team goal from the back, with Hawks working the ball up the pitch where Stewart finished off the move with a fine strike. However ten minutes later Cannock obtained a short corner which they finished well after the first strike was well blocked by Abi Flory. From then Hawks seemed unable to continue their good opening form, and Cannock were able to score their second goal in open play just before half time.
Cannock came out strongly after half time and took advantage of an early break to score. Hawks kept positive and continued to battle but were unable to take the chances to score. Cannock sealed the win ten minutes from the end as they scored another goal through open play to make the final score 4-1.
