Final game for Hawks U18 Girls
12 March 2017
U18 Girls 2 - 2 Trojans U18 Girls
The U18 Girls finished their season with a fantastic performance against a strong Trojans side on Sunday. For many of the girls it was their second game of the day having played the Ladies 2nd XI rearranged league game immediately before this one. The final score was a very creditable 2 – 2 draw with goals for Hawks from Rachel Potter slotting home cross from April Bedford and a drag flick from Annabelle Denly.
Huge thank you to Ruby Smith for stepping up from the U16s to play in goal; to Charlie Baggs for umpiring and to Meg and Jack for looking after the team and providing much appreciated coaching input. Thank you as well to a fantastic group of girls and a very supportive group of parents…for some of whom this was their last junior game at Oxford Hawks! Good luck to those who will be moving on next year – we hope to see you back at Hawks very soon. For the rest of the squad we look forward to doing it all again next season!
