L5S return to winning ways and get a clean sheet

26 November 2016, 10:30, Banbury Road North (Top)

Ladies' 5s 4 - 0 Kidlington Ladies 1s

Hawks L5s played a fast attacking game to beat Kidlington 4-0.

The first half started off slowly but once everyone had settled, we put the opposition under pressure and started creating space. About half way through the first half, Lottie played the ball into the D, Sherene received it on the post and neatly deflected it into the goal to score. Towards the end of the first half, Pip took a pass at the P spot and scored again. 2-0 at half time!

In the second half, we lost Eleanor to injury. However, we regrouped and were strong enough to score two more goals. Goal number 3 came within the first 10 mins when we won ourselves a short corner. Lottie was at the top of the D, perfectly poised to score. Not long after, Pip's skilful play lead her into the D where she powerfully struck into the top right and the keeper had no chance.

At the end of the match, we had conceded no goals thanks to our solid defence and excellent team work.

MoM was Catlin for her great work in midfield
