Success for the U16 Girls
16 October 2016
U16 Girls A 6 - 1 Wycombe U16 Girls
With a fairly wee team, the u16s travelled to Wycombe for their first championship game of the season.
From the first whistle, Hawks were raring to go and were putting immediate pressure on the Wycombe defence however they were not able to convert their chances and the score remained 0-0 for the first 20 minutes. However Poppy Webb stepped up to break the deadlock and score the 1st goal for Hawks. From there the goals kept on coming with Poppy scoring another, Holly Senior scoring 2 and finally Row Hearn and Maddie Dale scoring one each as well.
The game ended 6-1 to Hawks with a great team performance and loads of good hockey on display. Joint man of the match went to Row and Holly for all their hard work and lovely hockey throughout the game. Finally thanks to Scraggle for umpiring today's game!
