The Falcons travelled to Epsom knowing a win would ensure the league title, they will now have to wait until after Easter to play Havant in an arranged fixture. The Falcons started brightly and were soon 3 goals to the good with Phil Dunnill scoring 2 and John Black scoring from close range. Epsom rallied and scored 2 on the break and Martin Hunter added a 4th to make the score 4 - 2 at half time.
The Falcons squandered chances and failed to add to their lead as Epsom's pacey right wing created havoc scoring the best goal of the game where he outpaced the whole defence from his own half and rounded Richard Wilsdon to score a great goal. Epsom equalised with close range shot before Phil Dunnill completed his hat trick and man of the match performance by running through the middle of the Epsom defence and flicking low in the bottom corner.
Epsom did not give in and equalised on the break and soon took the lead for the first time with less than 5 minutes to go, 2 players were sent off for bad tackles before Phil Dunnill's direct pass at the penalty spot was turned in by Giles Roper to completed the scoring and share the points.
