Hawks mens 6's lose to local rivals in close game

13 February 2016, 16:00, Banbury Road North (Top)

Men's 6s 1 - 3 Oxford Men's 6s

Good game had by all, despite losing to the local rivals. Alex Elliott was man of the match with other good performances from Will Senior and Freddie Sunderland. despite all this youth and the addition of Tom "cant play today because I'm making a flatpack" Gilman, the half time score of 1-1, flattered to deceive, and the sharp Oxford attack scored two quick goals after the break to put the game probably out of reach......

Early goal by Venables....oh no, it was Shambles Shirley, gave the team a justified lead.

Good game, played in good spirit, thanks to Charlie Shipperly and Dick for umpiring.
