Hawks 6's return to winning ways at last......

23 January 2016, 16:30, Banbury Road North (Near)

Men's 6s 8 - 3 Milton Keynes Men's 4s

With ONE point from 6 games, this was an occasion for all hands to the pump...only for Shambles to cop out midweek saying the time doesnt fit.....

"Where was he?" I hear you ask.....

The Theatre!!! Does Shambles actually know what happens at one of those....? If he isnt busy killing the beautiful wildlife, he's at the blinking Theatre.....

If Ashley hadn't won the DoD for missing the most open of goals, Shambles would have...

Game was good, Princess suddenly looked like a keeper, and the golden Oldies ( well apart from Higgins, Spittles and Wells Snr...) showed us how to play hockey. pleasure to have Boots  and Big Dog on the pitch, although Big Dog's finely tuned body got slightly untuned with a hammy.....

Highlight of the day was Rich Venables (not normally known for his positional discipline) having to stay back with the skipper as the Chairman blasted forwards in the search of the holy grail (a goal to him..)

Nico scored a brilliant first goal with the help of Mr Dawson (lets hope he can earn his way back into the team soon....), and was MoM for his all round energy and speed and his brace of goals.

We got 3 points - BIG plus! The other highlight was having someone who could actually stop the ball up front ..... and score....

Bourton next week, come on chaps, just a few more points and we are safe......
