The Falcons lent 3 players to Wokingham Vets including former England Masters Keeper Jim Felix but soon found their stride with Neil Biggs (Boggs) orchestrating the play - as in days of old - from centre half. The combination of Steve Griffiths and Giles (Ted) Roper were creating havoc up front.
The first goal ended a fine passing move typical of the Falcons play in the first half, Steve Griffiths deflecting the ball past Jim Felix in the opposition goal. Ian Sobey scored the 2nd as a short corner strike was deflected past the keeper. Ted helped himself to 2 fine and fairly similar goals as he swept in passes from midfield at the top of the D. Steve Griffiths made it 5 and Rogan Meadows escaped the tight marking of Chris Hutton to slam the ball past Richard Wilsdon from the top of the D, 5 goals to 1 at half time.
The Falcons went a bit off the boil in the 2nd half but after adding the 6th through Ted allowed Wokingham to pull another back as Rogan Meadows was unmarked and slammed his 2nd past Richard Wilsdon. Ted added his 4th and capped a fine game by setting Steve Griffiths for a tap in and his hat trick after fine run and pass. Ian Sobey scored his 2nd and the team's 9th in complete the Bogg's and Ted's excellent adventure.
