Hawks took on local boys Milton Keynes in the first game of the second half of the season. Hawks started the game well, MK were happy to sit back with men behind the ball. Hawks within minutes won a short corner, the MK keeper getting the faintest of touches from a Jack Biggs flick to go for a long corner. Hawks had most of the possession but could not penetrate the MK defence. MK put men high and looked to hit on the break, from one of their breaks they won a short corner. The drag flick was saved on the line by postman Si Robinson. Hawks deservedly took the lead after good work by MOM Alex Williams to win a short corner. Jack Biggs converted. The rest of the half was belonged to Hawks with the occasional foray by MK into the Hawks 25.
The second half was a similar pattern to the first Hawks looked in control but with a slender lead, MK were always in contention. Hawks doubled their lead with a Jack Biggs penalty flick. Alex Williams carried the ball into the D, the ball came loose, Matt Wood pushed the ball goalwards for it to be stopped on the line by a MK foot. With neither keeper busy Hawks played out the game for a comfortable win.
