Mens 6's lose to a well drilled South Bucks first team

21 November 2015, 15:00, Banbury Road North (Near)

Men's 6s 1 - 3 South Bucks Men's 1s

Good game with top of the table (well they would be if they hadnt "postponed" some matches for a stag do...) and for most of the first half,  Hawks played a really disciplined game.

The addition of Chris Hutton meant that HAwks were even tighter than usual at the back, and the experienced attack from South Bucks got very frustrated as they were marked out.

Sadly, the Hawks forwards struggled to take advantage of the incursions into the STh Bucks D and at half time, 0-1 was it was all to play for. Man of the match was Josh, despite the dissent in the bar afterwards.....

We lost our shape at the beginning of the second half, and promptly shipped two goals, the goal for HAwks was more than deserved, and scored by Van Persie.

Hutts played really well, although his body somewhat gave out in the second half, and Rodders and Ash had mentions in the man of the match vote.

Thanks to the opposition for a hard fought but enjoyable game, and for their umpire who was good alongside our own Rory - well umpired throughout.
