Men's 5s go down to flu and Windsor

17 October 2015, 10:30

Men's 5s 2 - 4 Windsor Men's 1s

A very even game, disrupted by two lapses in concentration from the Hawks side. Further improvements were significant over the passages of play controlled by hawks, however the early season fluctuation of players continued to rear it's head as the side failed to fully control a dominant position and capitalise on taking the lead in the game.

The onset of autumn hit it's toll in addition, with a healthy squad of 15 depreciated early on Saturday to a spritely 12 players as the onset of flu knocked numbers considerably with wave after wave of phone calls.

Scorers: Sam Drury, Giles Oldershaw
