Hawks u 16 boys earn hard draw away at rivals Marlow

16 November 2014

U16 Boys 1 - 1 Marlow U16 Boys

Very hard fought game, in which our u 16 boys played with passion and skill against a very good Marlow side.

Hawks backs played a game of composure and maturity, Alex Elliott and Charlie Stoker especially, had great games but in reality everyone was excellent.

Man of the match Will Cross showed another dimension to his game when he covered his team mates when required, but also kept the Marlow left defence pegged back with his searing runs.

Other mentions for Oli Lovobond and Robbie Scragg for their work rate and John Black for being in the right place and grabbing the equaliser.

A draw was probably a fair result.

Many many thanks to Gary Mahon for coming to umpire a difficult game.
