It has been a long season and this was our 26th and final game. With Lisa commandeering 5 of our regular juniors and a further 5 members on holiday we were looking very thin on the ground. Through bargaining and persuasion we started the game with 13 players - although Dette just made it, having just successfully passed her driving test that morning.

We had a lot of the play in the first half with some good movement on the ball and despite  a number of excellent shots on goal, it was sometime before we managed to score our first goal. We continued to pound the goalie with lots of shots and finished the half 3-0 up.

The second half continued in much the same vein and with some great drives by the halves and inners, we dominated the half with another 4 goals, including Louisa securing a hat-trick. The last 10 minutes of the game were our least successful where some eye-off-the-ball errors left Olivia busy in goal for a few minutes. Louisa got man of the match for an excellent all round performance.

We ended the season with a decisive victory and a firm second place in the league. Thanks to all those who helped out today and well done to the regular 5s for a great and successful season.
