Despite their best efforts L6s couldn’t get on the score sheet this week and were 2nd best to a youthful Aylesbury side who claimed all 3 points scoring 4 goals

L6s play in a game best forgotten
Despite taking the lead after only 2 minutes the L6s couldn’t continue this momentum and were over run by Marlow losing 7-2.

L6s flew with the wind to win 4-1 away at Abingdon
L6s were back on winning ways as they put 4 goals past Abingdon 2s before the rain and wind from Storm Dennis arrived.

L6s give top of the table Thame a game to remember
An end to end game saw the L6s go 2-1 up and put 3 goals past Thame 2s, who had only conceded 7 goals to date, only to lose out on the final whistle 3-4.

L6s hopes for victory blown away in windy game against Sonning
A lack lustre 2nd half performance when playing into a strong headwind saw the L6s concede their 1 goal halftime lead to lose 2-1 against Sonning 4s.

The L6s early game bird catches all 3 points from Windsor 2s
Another close game for L6s but their determination to never give up brought them the reward of a 2-1 home win this week.

A slow frosty start saw L6s slip up to lose at home 0-4
Despite some positive play in the 2nd half it just wasn’t enough to overcome a well drilled Amerhsam&Chalfont side.

L6s start 2020 with an away 5-1 win against Bicester 2s
L6s work hard in windy conditions to keep Bicester at bay and showed some great connections to secure their 1st win of 2020.

Plenty to party about as L6s finish first half of the season sitting 5th in their league and look forward to moving on up in 2020.

L6s turn up the heat on a cold+frosty morning to beat Kidlington
With the BRN pitches turning from white back to green the L6s were able to put 6 goals past Kidlington 1s as the sun came out

L6s lose out 1-5 under grey skies away to Aylesbury 2s
A defence heavy team worked hard to get the ball into Hawks attacking half but it was the youthful and fast Aylesbury players that won the day.

L6s enjoyed playing some friendly opposition Cirencester 4s
With no league opposition this weekend the void was filled as the L6s took on Cirencester 4s - plenty of goals resulted in 7-1 result to Hawks.

A frosty start + need for WHITE socks were not part of L6s plans
Another close away encounter as L6s lost 1-2 to Marlow - lots to work on including making sure we all end up in the same changing room ahead of our next game!

Under damp and grey skies the L6s had plenty of time to put away 6 goals against Abingdon 2s

This weekend’s away game saw the L6s realise that they will need to crack the whip harder and pounce on the ball quicker to get the better of sides like Thame

Some fine finishing saw L6s win 2-0 at home against Sonning 4s
The L6s put their training session into practice to score one goal through the ‘ears’ and the other via the ‘whiskers’ in their 2-0 home win over Sonning 4s.

Ladies 6s 2nd half determination secures 2-1 win against Windsor
Despite letting in an early first half goal, the second half saw the L6s making better team connections and defense holding firm to bring another 3 points home.

Ladies 6s lose out 1-2 away at Amersham and Chalfont
Despite their best efforts and a flick saved the late afternoon trip down M40 to Amersham saw the Ladies 6s return home without any points from the game.

Ladies 6s secure their 1st league points of the new season
A new season, a new division, new faces and 25degC yet somehow the Ladies 6s managed to keep cool and play as a team to beat Bicester 2s 2-1 at home

First step up for the L6s in friendly game against Kidlington
The final friendly ahead of the new league season saw L6s secure a 2-2 draw as the sun shone down.
