Ladies' 4s finish on a high!

We started strong, but although we kept the ball in the opposition's half, we struggled to score.  Many good runs up the wing finally led to a successful goal off the left post by Rebecca Black.  She was playing her first game back after injury.

Soon after the start of the second half a brilliant goal was scored from a Hawks short corner.  Linda took the ball at the top of the D, slipped it to Rebecca who then passed it back to Linda who shot.  Although Phoenix & Ranelagh came back hard, leading to us having to defend numerous short corners, no goals were conceded and the game finished 2-0.

Derryn and Pip were voted joint players of the match for showing hard work and determination in defence.
