Men's 2nd XI vs Marlow October 2011

Oxford Hawks played a huge game to take 3 points to sit top of the table.

 Against the run of play, Hawks took the lead with a lung busting off the ball run from Richard Craig, for him to finish high into the Marlow net. Marlow deservedly took the lead and were 3-1 up with a minute to go in the 1st half. This could have been more if it were not for Tom Wheeler in the Hawks goal. Ferraby netted a trade mark drag flick just before the break to give Hawks hope. 

Hawks started brightly in the 2nd half and Tim Martin scored a volley to make the scores level. Sean Cox gave Hawks the advantage and this was follwed by 2 goals from short corners, with Ferraby adding his second and Steve Kelly scoring.

 Marlow got a one back but Hawks held on for a well deserved victory. Well done the boys.

The bus has left the depot and the wheels are going round and round.
